We were just in Ybor City and were fortunate enough to stumble across “The Bawdy Boys” at Gaspro’s Grotto. Great entertainment from a great band and I cannot wait to see them again, hopefully in DC but we are willing to travel if we have to!!! Best wishes and “TOAST!!!!”

  6. Ryan Lisius says:

I went to see you guy at the 2011 MI Renaissance Festival. You were amazing, you played a song I really liked and I did not know the name so I looked up the lyrics online. I believe the name of the song is called “Seven Drunken Nights”. Some of the lyrics are “As I went home on Monday night as drunk as drunk could be
I saw a horse outside the door where my old horse should be
Well, I called me wife and I said to her: Will you kindly tell to me
Who owns that horse outside the door where my old horse should be?
Ah, you’re drunk, you’re drunk you silly old fool,
So drunk you can not see
That’s a lovely sow that me mother sent to me
Well, it’s many a day I’ve traveled a hundred miles or more
But a saddle on a sow sure I never saw before”.

My question is have you recorded this song or your version of the song, and if not would you consider doing so?

    • Bawdy Boys says:

Yeah! That is Seven Drnken Nights. We have no recorded that one yet but we ARE going to be working on a LIVE album soon. We’re pretty sure that song will make an appearance somewhere on that album! Thanks for the support!

  7. Deirdre Kubitski says:

Hey gyus! Where can I get your cds or download your music? Wasn’t able to be at WSE with the rest of the girls (Lunatic Vagabonds) and I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it to MIRF this year since my due date is Aug 6. We have a new lil fan on the way 🙂

  8. Neil Kabat says:

So, I had my buddy drive me down to the MI Ren Fest this year and on the way down we listened to your first CD. After the smoker, I spoke with you guys for a few minutes and God damnit all I’m hooked. You guys are not only hilarious but great for drinking. I was drunk before noon today, and all you guys made me want to do was drink some more. Loved the show. Yo ho!

Are you guys ever going to do a lyrics page? I’d love to learn a couple of your sons just in case I ever get lucky enough to see you live. That and as a writer sometimes I slip in a few lines from time to time as needed to carry an idea.
