Barataria: Pirates, Faeries and Ficus (Ya heard me...)
We just found port after a long weekend in Springfield, MO at the Barataria Pirate and Faerie Festival. We had a blast seeing old friends and walked away with a whole slew of new friends.
Captain Black and the Sea Dogges were great as ever. We hadn't seen them since NOLA and it was nice to be in their company again. Great hosts they were and we look forward to seeing them again.
We also had the honor of causing a ruckus with the Musical Blades. With one word, we can sum the night up...Thunderstruck...(sorry Cookie). We are really looking forward to the next port o'call with these fine folks. Check them out on iTunes for some great 100% original piratical melodies. Twas an honor, lads!
